Our days in the craft tent at Camp Mary Atkinson left us with an undying love for the classic friendship bracelet. South American color combinations mixed with studs and sparkle make these feel particularly fresh. Both pink and green versions mean there is one to give and one to get.

Materials

  • knotted yarn bracelet
  • studs
  • black diamond stone
  • thread

Unpack your materials and grab a pair of scissors.

Cut your thread. You'll only need about a foot or two.

Thread your needle and knot your thread. Go ahead and make a big knot- four or five knots should do.

Place the stone in the center of the bracelet.

Coming from the back of bracelet thread the needle through the hole in the stone's setting.

Stitch the stone in place.

Repeat stitching the stone to the bracelet with the second hole in the setting.

Stitch several times to secure the stone in place. Knot the thread.

Snip your thread.

Place the studs wherever you'd like them. We placed them at the corner of each diamond.

Once you have each stud in place flip the bracelet over and push over the studs.
